PoE over Coax Extender accessories are sold in pairs and allow utilization of the existing coaxial cable infrastructure to connect IP PoE cameras to the PoE switches. By re-using an existing coax cable, the IP camera installation can be completed faster and more sustainably. Connect one PoE extender to the PoE camera (using a short RJ45 Cat5e/6 cable) and to the existing coax cable. Connect the second PoE extender to the other end of the coax cable and to the PoE switch (using a short RJ45 Cat5e/6 cable).
Use with i3’s line of IP cameras and PoE switches.
Note: Ax85 supports distances up to 328 ft (100 m) only
