i3's Portal Card Access System provides an extremely powerful, cost effective, integrated access control and facility management solution. The system offers 2 door access controls and up to 32 doors when connecting to 16 control boards. It 's a stand-alone system that is very easy to install and operate by both the installer and the user. It supports a 26 bit Wiegand access card or higher 46 bit input format.
Communication is possible via the RS-232 serial connection which is popular on most PCs using Windows O/S. However, a network communication is also possible via a module upgrade. Portal can handle 2,000 users. Driven by i3 's proprietary software, the system provides an ideal, modular and expandable solution for commercial and institutional needs. It provides seamless integration with any of i3 Digital Video Management Systems allowing users to monitor video and card access information.
