HOW IT WORKS




i3 VisionCount allows retailers to customize the information they collect. Data is gathered and presented in chosen formats that provide facts to make decision-making less like crystal ball gazing... and more like success-driven business savvy. Authorized staff access results through interfaces including the web, customizable scheduled reports, mobile applications, database file outputs, and more. i3's systems give actionable information such as:

SUPPORTED INPUT SOURCES

Traffic Counter: (door count)

Overhead cameras are mounted on the ceiling pointing down to the main entrances of the site. Video images of people entering and exiting the site will provide management the number of customers per day or hour. The stats give empirical data as to why the number of customers is less on one day than on another and if this increase or decrease is due to a sales promotion, weather, holidays, or day of the week.





Region Count (Service Timer):

Region Count allows managers to measure the wait from order to pick up. The process begins the moment the customer lines up in front of the cash register to the time that order is finalized. Working with the cash register and the image from video stats are generated. Quantitative measurement provides valuable information for the managers to determine customer services and support by increasing or decrease staff in defined periods of time. This tool can also be used for detecting sweet-hearting when combined with POS data.


Drive Through

Drive Through gives managers of fast-food restaurants the ability to quantify a measurable result from the time the order is placed to the time the order is concluded. Using traditional video the computer can distinguishes between vehicles by the shape of the windshield which is mostly trapezoid. The data for the number of vehicles, the wait time, and the average time of service can easily be extracted from the Internet. When drive through data works in conjunction with cash registers, accurate information is generated to determine links between transactions drive throughs. Such information is important to determine whether a drive through is legitimate or not. The i3 system also works using ground-loop vehicle detection signal.
