The RS485 interfaces between different controllers and can be extended up to 4000 feet (1200 meters) at the baud rate 9600. (Single twisted pair, shielded, 18 to 22AWG)
Communication to a host computer via RS-232 serial comport. TCP/IP interface with PC via RS-232 connection is an option
