For the security professional who requires a powerful, unlimited video viewing tool delivering the industry's most fluid video experience. i3 Video Pilot utilizes a google like searching capability and combined with the most advanced video decoding and encoding methodology which allows users to view various, simultaneous video streams. This best in breed technology culminates in enhancing the usability experience and makes i3s Video Pilot fast, simplistic, and uncluttered.
Video Pilot makes it possible to view multiple video channels on multiple monitors in a local network environment. Video Pilot is made up of two parts: Video Pilot Server (VPS) and Video Pilot Console (VPC).
VPS provides a back-end for receiving and transcoding video signals from multiple IP cameras.VPC resides on a high-end computer Server with a multiple monitor-output video card, providing a front-end client for selecting and displaying video images to a monitor wall.
Sending and receiving live video streams is a potentially network and processor-intensive process. VPS intelligently prioritizes and compresses video streams as required by the display configuration of VPC and within the constraints of network bandwidth and the VPC hardware.
Video Pilot System utilizes i3 GiPi, Generic IP Interface, to communicate with all supported IP cameras on a local area network. Video Pilot Server automatically searches, discovers IP cameras on LAN and displays thumbnail pictures on the Video Pilot Console. Operators can categorize, color-code and display the IP cameras on any of the connected video monitors. Video Pilot allows viewing any IP camera at a click of a mouse.
VPS accepts multiple IP cameras at-a-time and each VPC can control and display multiple IP cameras on up to six monitors. Searching for a specific camera is simplified with text/color query. Video Pilot Server is designed for a robust environment, where hundreds of IP cameras need to be controlled, organized and monitored.
